Hair: just showered Makeup: thick eyeliner, nothing else Doing: checking messages, buying green tea at 4th St. Coffee.
My apartment was getting painted so i decided to go furniture shopping in Alphabet City.
I was a little nervous about Project. Because of my grandmothers death i couldnt go to the charity Gala, wherei was supposed to meet everyone. Everyone was meeting at wine bar tonight so I figured i would meet people there.
I checked my messages on my blackberry and got in line for coffee. So far i bought two couches, a nightside table, an a tv. i really needed a bookcase for my apartment for my overload of magazines and poetry books.
"Shitt, im So sorry!" I said as i bumped into the guy infront of me. Heels are such a pain.
"oh, no worries." He said turning around. never mind, heels ruled.
He was 5'9ish with brown hair, brown eyes. he had one of those adorable pothead smiles. I was in love.
"im sorry, im really clumsy." I said picking up my wallet.
"Haha, no dont worry im suprised it wasnt me hitting you."
"Haha, your like the 12th person i have hit over today."
"Well i've hit 13."
"Yah but i hit an old women, so thats 5 points."
"okay you win...today. We will ahve to meet up again and see who wins then. Give me your phone, i'll add my number."
We swapped numbers and he left. Ugh, he was so goegeous. I looked down at my phone, Brian Toretto. Hmm. italian.
I stared at the 3 grey suitcases and formulated a plan on how i would do this. The limo driver had been courteous enough to drop me off two blocks away and leave me in the rain.
So i grabbed onto the bags and almost toppled over on cause to the fact that i only weigh half as much as two of the bags.
A doorman came up when he saw me, soaking wet and tried to grab my bags.
"No, its okay...if i can make it two blocks I can make it up to my room. thanks anyways. Where is the elevator?" I said.
He smiled and pointed to a corridor to the left. The lobby was fabulous, all decked out in old French Parisian style. There were two girls giggling in a chair, they stopped and stared as i passed. The immediatly started whispering in each others ears. I didn't realize they were informed i was arriving today.
I got in the elevator and went up to my room, number 418. It was gorgeously adorned in the same style as the lobby, even with its own little kitchen.
I waltzed into the bedroom and opened the closet....ahhh just as i thought. massive. i put my suitcases down and took a quick shower.
I thre on my new top and high waisted shorts and headed down to the cafe across the street.
I got a small ice tea and sat reading my blalckberry messages.
"Hey, are you Winnie?" said a voice from behind me.
